Incredible Edibles

27th Mar 2023

After collecting compost from the big pile, Senior 2 students sowed seeds in their compost-filled cups. After just a few days, they could see small seedlings coming up.  Soon the seedlings started to look like plants and it was time to move them outdoors.

Primary 4 students wanted to replant their plants too so the next day Tiernan went with SNA Graham to collect compost for Teacher Siobhán.

By now, we have chive, carrot, turnip, lettuce and spinach plants growing outside and Primary 4 students have their potato plants growing even taller in a big wooden box! Well done Senior 2 for growing your own plants and for being great senior helpers in the school!
